MATCHA COOKIES
Serves 4 | Prep: 15 min | Cook: 10 min
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons of matcha tea powder
- 90 g butter
- 150 g flour
- 60 g sugar
- 30 g cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 40 g chocolate
- A few hazelnuts
- 2 teaspoons salted butter caramel
- 1 pinch baking soda
- A little flaky sea salt
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar and 60 g of butter cut into pieces. Add the egg, cornstarch, flour, and baking soda, then mix well. Melt the remaining 30g of butter and add it to the mixture.
2. Add the matcha powder and the chopped chocolate. Form a smooth dough, then place spoonfuls of dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
3. As soon as they come out of the oven, immediately top the warm cookies with a few hazelnuts, a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, and a drizzle of salted butter caramel.
