Faugier chestnut puree is a smooth, unsweetened puree, made only with the addition of water, that retains the dense, starchy texture and nutty, sweet, earthy flavour of fresh chestnuts. Chestnut puree is fabulous for baking as well as making a quick and easy chestnut puree soup or ravioli filling. Can also be sweetened and used in classic dessert preparations such as mont blanc or as a filling for profiteroles.
