Frangelico is made from toasted Tonda Gentile hazelnuts from Piedmont Italy combined with coffee, cocoa and vanilla. The result is a sweet, yet well balanced liqueur with a rich texture with a delicate hazelnut flavor with hints of vanilla and dark chocolate.
On the Nose: predominant aroma of toasted hazelnuts as well as notes of shaved chocolate and vanilla beans.
Palate: Silky on the tongue with notes of toasted nuts, vanilla bean, cocoa and subtle citrus.
Finish: Sweet vanilla bean and nuttiness linger on the tongue.
